Critical fire weather warning from the National Weather Service.
“Significantly above normal, even some record temperatures, are expected today and Monday. With these very warm temperatures, we expect fuels to continue to dry and relative humidity values will plummet into the single digits Monday afternoon.

In addition, a trough in the Great Basin will bring gusty southwest winds to the area Monday afternoon and evening. This combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and high fire danger has prompted the issuance of a Fire Weather Watch for Monday afternoon and evening over southeastern Coconino county and much of Navajo and Apache counties.”
